Since Australia Day 2014, Maleny District Sport and Recreation Club has staged the very popular Sunshine Coast Hinterland Australia Day Expo in conjunction with the Aussie Day Breakfast & Australia Day citizenship ceremony organized by the Maleny Apex Club & TS Centaur Australian Navy Cadet Unit respectively (save for 2021 & 2022). We are delighted to confirm that all of these events are taking place again on Friday 26th January 2024 at the Maleny Showgrounds from 6.00 am to 2 PM. In summary, our 2024 Hinterland Australia Day Expo event will celebrate & promote the very heart & soul of our community, by enabling district sporting, service, recreation & leisure clubs to proudly 'showcase' their respective club & its diverse and interesting range of activities to local families & visitors to Maleny by their members/ players /coaches /managers &/or participants within a timetabled schedule of our Australia Day Activities Attendance and participation is free
